Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and TMAROIS, LLC (“we”, “us”), the publisher of Rundesk. They cover the Rundesk desktop app and this website, rundesk.app. By downloading or using Rundesk, you accept them. If you use Rundesk for an organization, you accept them on its behalf.

Using Rundesk

Rundesk is free. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on computers you control, for personal or commercial work. We retain all rights to Rundesk, its name and its logo. You may not sell, sublicense or redistribute Rundesk, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.

Your projects and your work

Your code, files and everything you create with Rundesk remain yours. Rundesk runs the commands, terminals, agents and schedules that you set up, with your computer’s permissions. You are responsible for what they do — including changes an agent makes to your files, commands it runs, and anything it does on servers you connect to — and for backing up work that matters.

Coding agents and third-party services

Rundesk launches agent programs, such as Claude Code and Codex, that you install and sign in to yourself. Their use is governed by their providers’ terms, and any charges for them are between you and those providers. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.

Updates

Rundesk checks for updates and installs them so it stays working and secure. We may change, add or remove features, or stop offering Rundesk, at any time.

No warranty

Rundesk and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that Rundesk will be uninterrupted, error-free or that it will not lose data.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, TMAROIS, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of Rundesk or this website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Rundesk, which is zero. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Ending

You may stop using Rundesk at any time by uninstalling it. These terms end automatically if you break them, and you must then stop using Rundesk. The sections on your work, warranty and liability continue after they end.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new terms take effect when they are posted here with a new effective date; continuing to use Rundesk after that means you accept them.
